The distance between Ferrum and Salt Creek is 1.37 km, and between Salt Creek and coDU is 5.58 km, a total span of 6.95 km.

End mounts consist of 2 m steel rods in stiff shales driven to refusal. The creepmeter is totally buried and has no telemetry to avoid vandalism.

Durmid Hill creep-meter, coDU

This creep-meter is the southernmost creepmeter on the San Andreas fault. The slip rate (jpg or pdf )is roughly 1.4 mm/year interrupted by creep events at roughly two year intervals. A triggered slip event followed a Gulf of California earthquake in July.

Numerical Data coDU

Times in GMT. Download a zipped excel file or a zipped comma separated file to July 2009. The file terminates shortly before a 1 mm triggered slip event on the fault. The three columns of data are date and time, slip in mm, and degrees Celsius.
