Picnic/Dinner and Tour at the Groundwinds Observatory
A picnic/dinner is be scheduled on Tuesday evening at the University of New Hampshire Groundwinds Observatory. A tour of thee Groundwinds Facility will follow. Transportation will be provided via shuttle bus. However, reservations are required. See Meeting Reservations menu item for reservation form.

Train Ride
A train ride is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17th and confirmation is required by June 12, 2002. See Meeting Reservations menu item for reservation form.

The Conway Scenic Railroad has a train ride to Crawford Notch beginning at 11:00 a.m. and returns at 4:00 p.m.and offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the Northeast. The rate is $32.00 per person for roundtrip. A snack bar is available, but a boxed lunch can pre-ordered for $8.00 a box. Once at Crawford Notch, guests will have 45 minutes to take a quick tour and hike andhave lunch. See http://www.conwayscenic.com for more information.
