Idaho-Wyoming

This region is characteristic of eastward progression of the Sevier thrust zone encountering the Laramide uplift with opposite verging reverse faults. Thrust sheets rotated counterclockwise ~40 degrees approaching the basement uplifts (Craddock et al, 1988).
