Thanks for you interest in the High Resolution Aerodyne Aerosol Mass Spectrometer (HR-AMS) Spectral Database. Please send all submissions to Michael.Lechner@colorado.edu, with "HR-AMS Spectral Database" in the subject. Your comments on the database (structure, categories, etc) are also welcomed. DATA FORMATS Please send .itx or .pxp containing (A) raw, (B) processed high resolution stick data, and (C) integer sticks from high resolution analysis. Waves requested are detailed below using the following format: Type of waves (Number of waves needed, folder where they are located) #- the wave you need - "default Squirrel/PIKA wavename" (*"name" = your ToDo wavename) (A) Raw Data (3 waves, root: ) 1- Raw MS Difference - "MSD_name" 2- Raw MS Closed - "MSC_name" 3- mz wave - "mz_base_name" 4- ion time of flight - not needed --> raw data point/x = ion time of flight in nanoseconds (*Alternatively, the raw waves can be taken from the HR folder, but they need to be corrected for the ion duty cycle. For advanced users only.) (B) High resolution Sticks (4 waves, root:HR_Sticks) 1- HR sticks - "nameStickDiff" 2- HR stick mass wave - "ExactMasswave" 3- HR ion names - "Exactmasstext" 4- HR tag - "ExactMassTag" - this will be needed if we upload the function Pete wrote to pull the ion list used rather than using a standard list as it is currently (C) High resolution data formatted in unit mass resolution for the graph (X waves, root:Int_Sticks: ) X- Ion family sticks - ex: "int_CH_diff_name" (*X = number of ion families, see reference below) note: use all that are represented in your data Reference of Standard Ion Families: 4 Organics: CH, CHO, CHN, CHON 5 Inorganic/other: HO, NH, Cl, NO, SO MAKING AN ITX To submit your data, please prepare your data as an itx (Igor text file). 1. From the pull-down menus, Go to Data -> Save Waves -> Save Igor Text... 2. Choose the appropriate wave(s). If your wave is not scaled in x by m/z, please also provide an amu wave(s). It's ok to put waves for multiple database entries in the same itx as long as they have clear names. 3. Do it! SENDING THE INFORMATION Send the itx along with the following information for EACH SPECTRUM. Filling out the html table below will expedite the inclusion of your spectra to the database.
