Field Campaign Database

Instructions

This page was created to serve as an organizational outline for the storage of field data. Everyone in the group has access to the data server through our virtual private network (details on how to access this can be found on the group restricted page). Please edit this page when any changes are made on the server.

Each field campaign on the server is broken down into raw data, processed data, submitted data, and a read me file. The read me file can contain whatever information may be necessary to explain the nuances of a particular campaign. This is left up to the discretion of the group member responsible for that data.

Files should maintain a consistent naming structure
Raw: campaign/Raw/instrument/datatype/
Processed: campaign/Processed/software used/description of data/(QAd)status

Please do not forget to state your 'timestamp' as well as the quality analysis status of your data.

Raw: MCMA/Raw/QAMS/AutoSaveData/Main
Processed: MCMA/Processed/IGOR/AMS_pTof/Publishable
QAd status: Basic, QAd, or Publishable
Datatype: AutoSavedData, Screenshots, etc.
