A large suite of start-of-the-art instrumentation is available for the project, within two highly dynamic research groups. This project is funded by a program just started by the Sloan Foundation and will involve two graduate students in addition to this postdoc, with clearly defined tasks for each person in a highly collaborative environment. The key tool will be a real-time High-Resolution Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer (CIMS) including a FIGAERO and other inlets, I-, acetate, EESI, and NO3- sources, and a new Ion Mobility Spectrometer-CIMS. The position may involve use of the new CU Atmospheric Chamber Facility. A recent publication on indoor air chemistry by our group is here.
