You will need the original Refract from your CD for this update or v 1.0.2 from a previous update. You have to create an environment variable showing where the software is installed to have the update run correctly (instructions in the Readme). Please be sure to read the ReadMe file included to update properly! Please contact me if there are any problems with the updater.

Note that after reading the information that opens when you first open the updater, you have to close that information window in order to update your old copy of Resist. You will need to have a copy of Resist on your hard drive (you cannot update a copy on the CD itself). The updater will update both version 1.0 (from CD) and 1.0.2 to 1.0.7.

v1.0.1--

• compile with UniHelp3, RB2009r1. Hope this eliminates problems typing in some cells.

• Added check for preventing junk apparent resistivities from being displayed if inverting data produced a modelwith negative thicknesses or resistivities.
• Changed inversion scheme somewhat to allow inversion to change parameters more frequently when some parameters are fixed; there is a chance that in some circumstances, the inversion could make for a worse fit to data (though this has not arisen in testing).

v1.0.4-Fixed error in building a model from a saved file when the number of model layers increased. Removed initial electrode spacing and number of soundings from model output file.
