View from Log Cabin Mine area a little north of Mono Dome west of Lee Vining. Initial view east over Mono Lake towards the White Mountains. Looking farther right the Mono Domes are just visible over the top of the ridge to the southeast. Farther right the June Lake ski area is visible at the right edge of the distant Sierra south of Long Valley. Mono Dome is just left of Will Levandowski (taking a photo). Farther right, behind and to right of car, is Lee Vining Peak. Farther right is Mt. Warren; each is on the edge of the Hoover Wilderness. Farther right (nearly north) are the distant Sweetwater Mountains beyond Bridgeport Valley. The Bodie Hills are farther right with the Wassuk Range in the far distance over the left edge of Mono Lake. June 18, 2006 .
