View of Torrent Bay and The Anchorage, Abel Tasman NP, South Island of New Zealand from Pitt Head trail. The Anchorage is to the left (just out of view), Boundary Bay is across Torrent Bay (just left of the small landslide [slip] from 2011). The waters are a bit muddied compared to normal (major flooding was in the area a couple of days before). Abel Tasman is one of the few coastlines in the New Zealand with granite (Fjiordland also has some granitic rocks, though they are somewhat different). 5 January 2013.
