Hide... A lot to see. To the south to the left of the broad flat (left of the ridgeline with the trail with hikers) is Mt. Cameron. To the right, over the flat, is the triangular summit of Mt. Democrat. On the skyline behind and slightly left of Democrat is Mt. Massive; Mt. Elbert (highest peak in Colorado) is over the ridgeline snowpatch on Cameron. The Sawatch Range continues on the skyline to the left; the Collegiate Peaks area is near Mt. Sherman, which rises to the skyline over the saddle left of Cameron and separates the more distant Mt. Harvard (left) and Mt. Yale (right). Farther left, the brown twins of East and West Buffalo Peaks are to the right of the broad summit of nearly Mt. Bross (with a road switchbacking up it). The distant Sangre de Christo Mtns are on the skyline behind Bross. Farther left is the broad high South Park, with the town of Fairplay visible. Farther left (left of the hikers) is Pikes Peak. Going from Fairplay towards Pikes Peak are the ridges of Red Hill, Reinecker Ridge, Antler Ridge (?) and the Tarryall Mtns. Farther left (east) is Mt. Silverheels, which just reaches the skyline. Farther left Mt. Bierstadt and Mt. Evans are on the horizon just beyond and right of Bald Mountain, whose summit just touches the skyline. Farther left are two prominent peaks (above a small settlement of Blue River in the valley), Grays (right) and Torreys Peaks,Grays being the highest point on the Continental Divide.Farther left are some of the runs from the Keystone ski resort with some distant parts of the Front Range farhter back. Farther left are the Williams Fork Mountains. Farther left (north) Quandary Peak returns the skyline to a nearby peak along with other summits of the Tenmile Range. Beyond those summits is the Gore Range. Off in the far distance more to the left is the Flattops Wilderness. Farther left (NW) the highest peak in the snowcapped range is Mt. of the Holy Cross. Continuing left, a distant isolated peak is Mt. Sopris, and left of that on the distant skyline are the Elk Mountains. Snowmass Mtn might be on the skyline directly above the hikers on teh trail, and the Maroon Bells might be beyond the north end of the Sawatch Range.
