Initial view is to the north over Lake Rotoiti to St. Arnaud (Wairau Fault passes through the penninsula at the north end of the lake); clockwise views will pass the peaks immediately to the north and then the south bowl of the ski area is visible. Farther clockwise the high peaks of the Mt. Angelus area are visible over the head of Lake Rotoiti.
