Afternoon view from Satana Peak, Oct. 1, 2010, just west of the continental divide. Initial view south to Mt Neva and Caribou Pass (on the right, old road across the pass visible). Just to the right of Cribou Pass the ski runs of Winter Park Ski Area are visible. Arapaho Pass (on the continental divide) is to the left above Caribou Lake. Panning to the left is North and South Arapaho Peaks, Apache Peak (to the left of the subsummit to east, with a left-facing cliff) and then off to other peaks along the Front Range to the north. Drainage of Arapaho Creek descends to north from viewpoint, Never Summer Range is the far distance. Panning left over Middle Park, Tabernash (at north end of Winter Park valley) is under YMCA's Snow Mountain Ranch. Farther left, the Gore Range is on the horizon.
