Tarndale, New Zealand. Just off the Hanmer Springs road, initially looking ENE along the Awatere Fault. Views to the left show the Wairau gorge area, the road on the north side of the river, the upper Wairau (along the fault zone) and the gentle area to the south. 20 December 2000.
