There are four preferences for GravMag in v2.1 and later:
The number of significant digits displayed outside user-entered areas can be set. This is mainly of interest for seeing the calculated values in the Data Windows (especially when using full field values for magnetic anomalies).
Use Uncertainties on Data will display error bars in the Data Windows and any uncertainties entered will be displayed on the Section Window.
When Enter Magnetic Field Directly is chosen, the orientation and direction of the Earth's field in the survey area can be entered into the Model Window. Otherwise the program will approximate the field with a dipole field centered on the true north pole.
Maximum number of undos (v2.1 and later) allows the user to limit the memory impact of the undo function. Setting this to 0 will turn off undo and should improve responsiveness of GravMag on older machines.
v. 1.0.14 and later: Preferences are now automatically saved to disc (if allowed) and automatically read, so changes to choice of units, number of significant digits, etc., are preserved from run to run.
